I would like to suggest a new Draft system, more similar to the real life NBA one. Basically we would have three main changes:

- Instead of stats from 1 game, we would see the player's averages in the college season (or international league).

- Every team would have access to all the information about all the draft candidates (Scouting could be redirected to something like "predicting the potential of the players", or completely replaced by something else like "stadium maintenance")

- Lottery: there would be a lottery between the teams that did not make the playoffs to decide who gets the top picks.

Extra suggestion: Show the lottery and the draft nights live.

I love the lottery idea! However... teams that tank for lottery position are usually teams in the 5/6th place area. I don't think teams tank games to get into 8th place and automatic relegation! If anything, those teams want to get to the 6/7th spots so they can get in some extra games for training/income. So, if there is a lottery for draft position, I don't think it should be just about getting one of the top 2 or 3 picks (like the NBA's lottery for the top 3 picks). Really, it should be a lottery that makes it so, say, the 5th place team may get a better pick than the 6th place team, even though odds are not really in favor of that happening. It should be a lottery, with the "number of lottery balls" based on record (like in the NBA), but the lottery shouldn't just stop at the 3rd pick, but continue for all of the non-playoff teams.

Don't ask what sort of Chunks they are, you probably don't want to know. Blowing Chunks since Season 4!

At least the possibility of a better draft pick might stop people complaining about finishing 5th rather than 6th...
