Things that need to improve in BB:

Draft--how many NBA teams spend a bunch of money drafting young talent in order to immediately fire 33% of them?

Getting rid of retarded player potentials--I like games that are open-ended. If I want to train a player until all of his skills are wondrous, I should be able to, even if the guy is 28 or something.

Making it easier to train a SF--just one or two single-position SF trainings, & I'll be happy.

Free Agents--freaking stop it. There is no reason to release an Italian with 13k salary from a bot team.

Monthly ticket prices--I like the fact that I can make my own mind up about what I'm charging at the gate, but I don't like the 1st of the month restriction. Seasons don't start and end (and promotions and relegations don't take place) on the first of the month, so why should changes in ticket prices?

I can think of a couple more, but those are the big ones. I won't be renewing my supporter until something changes.

In Lithuania we have two main teams and they usually take few young players every year and most of the times get rid off after a season, just few survives playing in TOP level.
P.S. this gam is not just about NBA.

Do you actually think it`s possible to train 28y old basketball player a lot more as he`s trained till that age, it`s really unusual in reality for this to happen. Even most of the players stop develop them self after they reach 25y they just start to play more wisely cause of experience.

and I agree with other suggestions.

Good for you, pal; thanks for stopping by.

While on the subject useless turds, the hidden quality of a player to be prone to fouling too much is dumb. With that giant floater, you don't need player potentials.

I have a friend who plays pro basketball in Europe, and I realize that things are different over there.

Let's approach this differently. You're in a top division. Can a single player you draft start in one of your league games? If you want to win, I mean.

Getting rid of retarded player potentials--I like games that are open-ended. If I want to train a player until all of his skills are wondrous, I should be able to, even if the guy is 28 or something.

I think you misunderstood me. If I want to take an 18yo draft pick and train him until he's wondrous in all skills, I should be able to do that, even if it takes until he's 28. Make more sense now?

A lot of second-round picks never make it to NBA rosters.

Yes, but I've never heard of a second-round draft pick being a retarded kid who can't tie his own shoes, and-- oh, by the way, every team gets to have one.

Not all lemons can be made into lemonade.

I believe that the reason ages aren't automatically known on all players has to do with how it would make collusion easier to get away with, but I'm not 100% certain on that.

A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

While not all drafted players make it to the NBA, I've yet to see a draft pick in BB that could step into a starting role in a struggling 1st division club.

Better yet, since I've been so unsuccessful in convincing you the draft is a giant dung heap, perhaps you could try to convince me that it's great just the way it is?
