I am a newbie for the league and is looking for good team players from the transfer list market, however, today i placed a bid on a player, how come this player owner outbid my order to increase my expense from this transfer? Should i keep placing a new bid to outbid the player owner? If so, the bid will be never end and i may spend up to million to get a single player!!!

Anyone else faced same problem before? What can i do in this case?

Am i capable to be the bid winner if my bid is the highest by overlooking the player owner's bid? How can i see the bid history? How many bid were taken and who made it previously?

It“s because the other manager made a mistake selling this player.
Maybe he didn“t want to sell him or he made a mistake with the price.
Anyway you can win the bid and the player “ll be yours

But the point is i cannot refer the bid history to see whether i made the highest bid out of player owner's bid, for example:

$2000 (my bid)
$3000 (other player named "A")
$4000 (other player named "B")
$5000 (player owner)

In above case, i can only see the bid is $5000 made by player owner. According to your logic and i do nothing then, the final bid winner will be "player B", the result is i will lose the bid.

What can i do to secure and be the bid winner? Unlimited bid on top of player owner's bid MUST NOT be an option. Do nothing is not secure too.

Actually, if the owner's bid is the highest bid at the end, then the player stays where he is. As jacobomd said, he probably made a mistake in putting the player on the TL and now wants to keep him.

Exactly. Also, he may be trying to sell his player at a higher price (I.E.: owner wants the starting price to be 100K, but he accidentally types in 10K.)

He probably realized the TM is absolute garbage for sellers right now and wants to sell him later. I had this same problem. I had a player that was going for upwards to 1.2 mil and now he's worth squadoosh. I ended up not selling him.

And how does it works for the player owner? I mean, if the player owner makes a bid of 100.000 he manteins the player and loose 100.000? or it is free for him and he don“t loose the money?

Well when you sell a player you pay minimum 3% tax. So the owner will lose at least 3% of his money assuming that wins the auction.

+ his next transfer for the same player will be taxed a lot. Just like he would have bought a new player.

So you mean if i'll bid on my own player, i'll loose only taxes?

Let's have example:

My Player - my own bid on my own player 100k. So i'll loose 3% from 100k and there will be no minus 100k summary?

Thanks
