I've noticed that a lot of people say you should train 5 players in 2 positions... I have 2 good young centers, 1 PF and 2 SF but both the SF's are more suited to act like guards (better shooting, driving, etc)... should i still try to train them as PF's?

Well SF's are (or must) be the most well rounded players of the team, so you cant make any mistake. Those SF's are most probably short guys, so considering that the short guys are poping up slower on the big men training, my advice is to train them with your C's on the inside skills (younger players poping up faster). Then if you can afford to change your training to dwarf training then its the best bet. I had a guy 6'3 with good all around skills, so for 2 years i trained him on the inside skills, but i couldn't afford to switch my training so i sold him to a dwarf trainer to develop his outside skills.

Edit: After a quick check your team, you have actually only 2 players that are worth to train, and both are big men (Charley Cline who is u r best bet, Cameron Schwarz low salary but nice potential and last Douglas Jones who has low potential but good salary), so i will go on inside skills training route. Inside shot, Inside D, rebounds

what exactly is "dwarf" training... also does that mean i should try to buy more big men?

also what about Antone Jones

ump Shot: respectable Jump Range: inept
Outside Def.: average Handling: inept
Driving: mediocre Passing: atrocious
Inside Shot: respectable Inside Def.: mediocre
Rebounding: average Shot Blocking: atrocious
Stamina: inept Free Throw: strong

dwarf=guard. Well the basic idea is that you train 2 positions for example PF/C or wingmen etc, and you producing players, then you sell 1 of them just to buy a player on the positions that you dont train. This is the basic idea of this game.

From what i see on ur team you have lots of tall SG's so yes its possible. For me a good SF needs at least 10 on OD/IS/R, but i dont know whats the skills of u r players on those categories. If for example on ID are atrocious then u r wasting your time but if its mediocre maybe it worth it, but also u can find a player short with developed inside skills, and some decent outside skills that u can train him, at it was my x player Papanagiotou

Well - SF are a strange thing - though they have to be all around - it seems they don't need much IS - it is more like R maybe.

Well i dont agree with with that couz sometimes u want to play run and gun and some times you want to play look inside. I dont consider rebounding so much important for them couz if you are looking for that kind of SF means that you already have 2 very good rebounders on ur line up. According what you said make the IS much more usefull couz from what ive seen most SF's are actually SG's without very strong ID, so you can actually exploid a weakness of the opposite SF

Yeah - but - while playing look inside - do SF really shoot the ball inside or do we have just the PF and C getting the ball down low?
