I'm really dissatisfied with my coach.

I bough this week a talented PG: Harvey Park(342345)

Today i placed him in the starting-5 and my coach let him play 10 minutes overall. How should i train this guy efficiently, when my coach does not let him play. He will become out of shape and will also get no training. I have no idea, what i have to do. Please help me!

If you don't put anyone in behind him as a sub or reserve he should play the whole match. Works for me during scrimmages to get minutes in for training.

I did this with one of my players and he played only 23 minutes. I also agree with the Tattoro's comment. Most of my starters are being pulled way to early. In some cases it isn't that I want them to play the whole game...I just want them to play a majority of it. Backups are backups for a reason. My starters played 94 minutes combined. That is about 19 minutes per player. I had 2 starters play 6 and 7 minutes. They were pulled a few minutes into the 1st quarter.

My stud center, Toby Hurley, only played 4 minutes today! His replacement, Gold, stunk up the joint....

I have 2 complaints ;)

1. my starting SG played 1 minuts today...way too less if you ask me ;)
2. on PG position, I only set 1 player, no backup and no reserve. this PG played 24 minutes (not fouled out, 4 fouls), and among the 5 persons that were on the field when the game ended, there was my reserve SF playing as PG... I don´t know how to control the whole thing, meanwhile it seems impossible to me

Numbers in brackets are the played minutes.

On that case i have several questions:
- my best player Pete Pfaffen played 2 minutes yesterday as starter on his favourite position - why that?!
- Reinhard Olsacher played as PF but was placed nether as PF-Starter nor as PF-BackUp - why?
- Xaver Lusser played all of the time - so how can i charge trainining on Joseph Faust?

I've got some big lineup problems too, but I'm just hoping that this new ASP page fixes all of them.

Right . We have some new substitution options to address this problem.
They should be ready and available for the next games on Tuesday.

The options are
1. Let coach decide:
The system we have currently. The strongest player will play.

2. Coach selects from depth chart:
The coach tries to pick the strongest player to play but considers the depth chart more than at present.
This is intended to be a mixture of 1 and 3.

3. Strictly follow depth chart
Players will play according to the way you set them, even if it means that a weaker player takes the floor.

4. Depth chart until 4th
Players play the first three quarters according to your set up and then the coach decides who plays in the 4th.


Each option has strengths and weaknesses depending on whether you're trying to win a tight game or concentrating on training. We hope this sorts out the issues you've all been having.

"Coach selects from depth chart" isn´t possible any more, right?
