Sometimes the value of a player changes while the bid is still open. Do I get banned if the new value is lower than the bid I did?

Most likely not. The estimates are only estimates. Some players are worth more and some less.

No, the value shown is a transfer price estimate: As the market moves, the TPE will do the same, so it's more of a guideline then a strict rule.
