I think teams in the divisions of the retired players should have a way of bidding on players that are put on retirement. If the players are good enough to be free agents(that are not bidded on) they should be put on the market.And the ones not good enough are taken out. Maybe the same three day time frame. The reason I brought this up is that in my division, the league scoring leader was put in retirement and I am sure he would have helped in either one of the teams that are there. It would also give the players a chance to stay in their own division.

i am pretty sure that won't happen, because they stop making free agent this season to make a more natural market. This would be like free agent, and especially they would become often below the normal prices because there was just 15 team who could bid on them instead of 50k.
