a BB has actually stated semi-officially (I think somewhere in the forum) that there is "the fouling" attribute is actually a "physicality" attribute.

In the light of this, it is probably not true that a fouling player will commit more fouls than he draws. What we call a "fouling player" is just a player that is involved more frequently in physical plays (either on the "making" or "receiving" end)


i know that they stated it, but they didn't stated that they raise the chnche to make and get fouls at the same percentage ;) So if a player make 3 additional fouls through his physicality and draws one extra foul, he makes more then he get and for me this seems to be the case, because my physical (ex)player often get foul trouble, and their matchups rarely

I'm sorry to dig this up but fouling is getting really insane! To give up every game 20-40 free throws just isn't normal. Look at my last games and don't start again with a cliche that all your players have hidden physical skill:)

There is quite a gap between 20 and 40 FTs... 20 is low, 40 is a lot but you didn't give away 40 FTs in any of your last games.

You posted during half-time. Which one is your last game, B3 or league ?

PF during the last NBA finals : Game 1 : 21 vs 22, G2 : 20 vs 17, G3 : 27 vs 14, G4 : 23 vs 18, G5 : 26 vs 20, G6 : 24 vs 14.

FT : G1 : 19/26 + 25/32 , G2 : 17/21 + 16/24, G3 : 12/15 + 22/27, G4 : 17/24 + 24/30, G5 : 21/26 + 21/27, G6 : 12/18 + 20/33.

Which numbers are you expecting ?
Your team doesn't foul more than other teams. Check your league stats.

Considering only the finals between Miami VS Dallas here you have the list of free throws shooted for each team

Game6: 33 - 18
Game5: 27 - 26
Game4: 30 - 24
Game3: 27 - 15
Game2: 24 - 21
Game1: 26 - 32

Looking at some of your last games (I've ignored PL) I can see: 27-19, 18-31, 21-31, 16-36, 8-26, 25-14, 26-10

Honestly, I don't see the problem.

I do think the 'personal component' concerning the amount of fouls, might be too high. A few weeks ago I sold a really good trainee because of his fouls. He averaged 1 foul in 7 minutes. I've trained him in defence while for a trainee, this was more than okay (also his stamina was okay), but the amount of fouls didn't went down. When I had friendlies to play him in I preferred teams which played low, since than he hopefully wouldn't have 6 PF's at the end of the game. It turned out this strategy worked a bit, but as soon as it came to real games he was back to his old way. This was the story of the downfall of one of the biggest SF talents my country has ever had, the guy with the talent, which wasn't able to lower his temper... (16759399)
