I know there have a been a lot of discussion in the forums about experience and no one seems to really no the exact formula....but I can tell you during my cup run this season I had a PG pop twice in two weeks going from 1 to 3 in experience. I had another guy pop from 1 to 2. Until this week I hadn't anyone pop in 5 or 6 weeks; but then a veteran PF popped from 6 to 7. I know there is a debate about whether tourney games, vs league games or scrimmages give you more towards the pop. I am inclined to think that is true.

Are you saying that you had a player that popped consecutive weeks in Experience? Are you 100% sure about this? I don't think that is possible...

100% absolutely guaranteed. I don't know how to give a stronger oath. I have a spreadsheet, and keep track of everything. I have two buddies I told when it happened, other than that, not sure what else to say. I track my game shape/DMI/and Eperience each week.

Now by contrast, I have another player who has played just as much, and in the same games, and he is still at 1 experience. So it's all weird to me.

To clarify it was within a 3-4 game span. He popped to 2, and 2 or 3 games later he popped again to 3.

If you're right this could mean that players have some sort of hidden 'learning ability' when it comes to gaining experience. Another hidden variable?

Interesting, I've never noticed a player to pop twice in a 6 weeks let alone twice in 3 or 4 games.
Well it changes almost everything we thought we knew about experience.

Yeah, I got really excited because in that 3 week span I had 2 guys pop 3 times and thought my players experience was finally going to start going up consistently, and then nothing for weeks like I said. I will let you all know if he pops again in the next year :-)

well, I am right in that it did for sure happen....I agree there may be such thing, because like I said, what would account for another player playing right beside him matching him in minutes and not popping at all? I suppose that guy is close to popping, but seems like it should have happened by now.

Why the bold text - is it because you're sure it happened? It is very strange what you say. What could have happened to that player in those 3 games? Sounds like Ron Artest in the NBA finals. Or maybe you sleepwalk and make changes to your spreadsheet without knowing it?
