yes i have to admit, my training regime is not perfect. This was my first full season where i had a rough idea about what Ii was doing with my players and training....
But also, i think with the way i was training the players and specifically, WHAT i was training
eg: if my PF who is my star player, has 'respectable' handling, and im training handling that week, but my guards, starting centre, backup PF and another player have, what i would consider 'not acceptable' levels of handling, I would train them in the two position training for the week, not the star PF.
So there were instances of situations like that all throughout the season.
it does beg the question, why not train your star 19 year old PF in handling regardless? .... and i guess that is just my choice in how i train him. I would rather train a guard player up in handling, that a PF who already has, what i feel to be a good level of handling.
but thats just an example im giving! I cant really remember my justification for the choices i made 10 weeks ago!

Random question which I could probably find the answer for if I really looked, but how many training weeks are there in a season?

14 weeks in a season. 14 3-game weeks if your team gets into the playoffs, play 3 games in the finals and still be in the cup during the all-star break. If not, then 10, I think.

time to necro this thread

SEASON 14 TRAINING POPS

every season i start this thread to see how many pops everyone managed with their trainees this season instead of a new one i thought it would be neater to just continue the old one

people like to talk up how much they think they can achieve but i like to see how much was really achieved

i use buzzer control abd a spreadsheet to keep fairly accurate records- highly recomeded

level 5 then lev 6 trainer
