Alright, had some of those, others are now up for consideration.

Hoosiers is now in for sure-got to have a basketball movie in there somewhere.

Hmm, have never seen Point Break and The Notebook is a good suggestion.
Can anyone else vouch for this Point Break?

Point Break was good ;-)

I have to admit, my all time favorite movie is Hitch.....Also, no Die Hard Movies on your list?

Well after some carefully made changes I have come up with 63 movies, so a vote in is in line. Place your 1 vote on any of these movies please-write ins are also ok but the movie you write in vote for might already be in so offer an alternative that is here just in case.

Up
Space Jam
Wall-E
American Pyscho
The Exorcist
The Birds
Inception
Cinderella Man
A Beautiful Mind
Sin City
Watchmen
The Shootist
Goodfellas
Fantasia 2000
Catch Me if You Can
Blade Runner
American Graffiti
Mississippi Burning
Patton
Basketball Diaries
Sneakers

Vote Away

Where can we see a list of the 51 current movies? I have a few that I feel should be added but I'm not sure if you already have those on your list or not. Oh and from this current group, I'd vote for Catch me if you can/Wall-E

If you're having a movie competition that doesn't include The Big Lebowski, The Shawshank Redemption or The Jerk, then I'd say you're running the NIT of movie tournaments.

No Godfather movies (even after addressing them as split in your initial post)?
No Dr. Strangelove or 2001 or Clockwork or anything Kubrick?

Forrest Gump, anyone?

I would agree with Darky here. Although I don't know if i ever saw the Jerk. I think he is including Godfather I & II as one entry. Not sure about the others.

I really hate movie competitions that are heavily weighted for new movies. There should be a 5 year wait period to avoid recency effect. Kinda like with the hall of fame.

Also, I vote for Goodfellas.

I love Inception, Sin City, and Watchmen.
