Well, it depends on your definition of huge. I would say that a player trained with 2 position training will improve about 60-70% as fast as one trained with single position. That's better than half, so you're getting more overall training for your team, but after a season, you would be able to see a difference between two players, one of which was single position trained, and one of which was double position trained.

Since you're new, I'll just clarify that as long as you get 48 minutes in a week, getting any more WILL NOT help your player get more training. Put another way, 49 minutes will get your player the same amount of traning as 144 minutes. Therefore, once you get your main player his training, just move on to the next young player because training is probably the most efficient means of improving your team.
