it has been a long time since you were winning but you know how to win - it is just a question if you have the passion - and as for your economy, yeah i am sure that you could last no ore than 3-4 seasons with that level of spending

should we make you angry? - you are an old pussy, a has been and we are gonna wipe the floor with your geriatric adult nappies

should we suck up to you? - oh niko, you are the greatest ever, we will just all bend over and let you ream us

should we trick you splitj style? - yeah we are going to tank against you, we are aiming to let you win, then hit you with our best possible teams and crunch it

or should we tell you the truth - you are tough, you are experienced, you are an aussie bb hofer, but that counts for nothing now, there are some smart managers with well trained teams here like petevas, lukebee. datzilla, manchild, holtz, indymacka and others that will make you earn your victories

Nope... When he puts out his best team no manager will make him earn his inevitable victory. However with his salaries up at the 600k pw mark with no australian players he will surely be haemorrhaging money every week. I'm sure he knows that so either he has lost interest or he has an extra couple of million in reserve. Either way he will run through everyone he chooses to at will.

hi guys new team here :)

yes this is precisely what a newly promoted team looks for when trying just to survive in div 2, a rampaging ex ABBL team whose spent up big hmmm. Maybe I'll have try some of the tactics that won me the title last season. Namely injurying three hobos players in the finals series.

Anyways I hope this season goes well for all

Just FYI, Mr/Ms Socks. No one else may rampage in this division, regardless of whether they're ex-ABBL. He can plunder, destroy, pillage etc, but he may not rampage.

Also, that was you that did that to Fanny? Bahahahaha.

Thanks for the welcome.

I have been playing since the 1st season in 2007 when I was in the Italian league (because I was doing exchange there from UTas)
The truth of the matter is I have been playing for a hell of a long time. This however isn't reflected in my knowledge of how to play effectively. I am not a strategy master like Shep or Direwolf.

The game engine and various other parts of the game have changed since my interest started wavering, so you guys who are on here studying the GE and the forums for tips are probably much better at setting up your teams appropriately.


I am not going to let you all off the hook and just let my team drop down a division and then go bot. I have a bit more pride than that. That said, I am not that interested in going back up to the ABBL at the moment. I think others could deserve it more than I do at the moment. But who knows maybe during the season I will kick it up a notch and go for it.

whats the floor salary over there in div2, start selling up! this season is a write off =P

No we won't...

The generals had a 2495 game losing streak. He only has to win just under 100 times that to promote undefeated... And seeing that his players won't be treating opposing players with the same piss take attitude as the globetrotters do since players strengths and game results are a result of mathematical equations, he will dominate anyone in this league who sees his full strength lineup... We are not dealing with a noob who has tanked for seasons to get a monster list but lacks the skill to get the job done (you know who you are!). It is Niko's knowledge and competitiveness that made the ABBL the league that is so hard to get into. With his list he can treat games with the same contempt we treat div3 teams.
