the grade is an more detailed Star rating, i give you an example in fictional numbers.

A 4 Star Rating player always have B grades(5 Star A and 3 star C etc.), but you get an extra indikator with the +/- so that it could look like this:

B-: 2,800$ - 3,100$
B: 3,101-3,400$
B+: 3,401 - 3,700$

Hopefully i could help.

Mmmm interesting...
In my case I have interviewed 3 players and I have the following information:

Player / Star Rating / Potential / Grade Rating
Player 1 / 5 / 4 / A-
Player 2 / 5 / 3 / A-
Player 3 / 4 / 2 / B

I have it a bit clearer though not without doubt.

thanks for the info.
+1 for you.

regards

personally I wouldn't bother with anyone with 2 potential and below.

I'm actually training guards, however, 1.96 isn't the best height for that purpose.

So I would always choose the one with a better market value, who I though was the C as you also agree.
And then I could also buy another set of guards to train if i desire.

Thank you and the rest for the answers

agreed :)

196 isn't an ideal height for guards... unless you want to try a hand at SF's.

You could train the taller player as a guard for awhile, then when you put him on the market he'll be very attractive to those that are training bigs as he'd train quite nicely into a SF at that point.

Shoot, that is tall.

With solid guard skills, he'll be a very attractive big man to either train or sell for exactly that reason. If he's superstar level or greater, you'll likely be able to sell him for a ton.

Only C is worth to take and as I see on the forums, you are training guards... If you would train guard skills for two more seasons and then switch to inside skills, this would be a perfect player for you to turn into an inside SF.

I don't recommend the two guards...three seasons ago I drafted 2 guards with allstar potential and they will reach their cap in 5-6 weeks. I should add they have been 2-position trained for first two seasons, so if they'd be trained on 1-position, they would reach the cap even earlier. Now they are good for third league I'm in, but I'm advancing to 2nd league this season and they can be only bench players there. So I invested three seasons and a half of training into bench players.

Plus, it's possible that you would be getting a "Star" potential with three balls which is even worse.

If you are training guards, draft the C, sell him and buy yourself a new guard trainee.
