Thanks, I might consider training my 26 and 28 year olds just to squeeze in a pop or two.

I trained him all over the place and he popped all over the place. I might be seeing with rose tinted glasses and maybe it was only 7 or 8, but I distinctly remember just being amazed at how much he was popping. He had always been 2 or 3 position trained up to that point (yes- I used to train 3 positions) and it could well be that most of those skills were just a hair away from popping before, but the point is that if you have a guy that you have been training, his sublevels keep going up and eventually he pops. Here is where he stands today:
Jump Shot: sensational Jump Range: proficient
Outside Def.: prolific Handling: prominent
Driving: proficient Passing: respectable
Inside Shot: proficient Inside Def.: prolific
Rebounding: prolific Shot Blocking: respectable
Stamina: inept Free Throw: respectable

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

With stats like that he looks like a backup SF... surprised you even bothered training him at such an old age.

First of all, Thailand is a small country.

He can play all 5 positions and rate between 10-13 doing so.
7/21/2011 PF 33 11-21 2-3 2-2 1 8 5 2 3 3 0 26 13.5
7/1/2011 C 36 6-9 2-3 0-0 0 4 3 0 0 1 3 14 10.5
6/25/2011 PG 46 6-19 1-3 2-2 5 10 2 4 5 1 3 15 10.0
6/18/2011 SG 22 5-8 0-1 0-0 2 6 2 2 0 1 2 10 11.5
6/14/2011 SF 35 6-15 1-1 7-10 4 11 4 1 1 3 2 20 12.0

His salary is 35k. He has been a fantastic player for me, and I will say that he is an excellent example of how multi-skilled players outperform their skills.

Last time I saw the world map, Thailand looks just as big as Australia, and its definitely got more people in it!

How much would he be worth on the market right now? 2 mil?

I am talking about the BB world... where it's 639 to 39.
I have no idea how much he is worth on the market. He's better than his market value, that much I know.
There have been 83 recent transfers of 29-30 year old small forwards with sensational jump shot and any potential. Dude is probably better than all 83 of these players, but the few that are most similar have been selling for around $ 300 000 to $ 1 950 000.

I'm pretty sure you know how much he is worth considering you have so many div1 trophies *wink*

The 100 meter ladyboy dash.

6, 7, 8 pops all mean nothing when all of the sub levels could have been .99, it can just be a statistical abberation. What I would love to her is from someone that got two pops in the same skill at age 27 and how many weeks it took to get the second pop.

Wow thats bad... maybe a few NBA stars should go over to Thailand instead of China or the Philippines during the lockout.
And you're a terrible GM. This convo got way off topic!

Anyways I would never train a 27 yr old player, it just doesn't seem very cost effective.
