I am still training my 29yr old HOF NT SG(trying to keep the NT coach happy) and at first I wasn't expecting anything but I have gotten an IS,Driving and a handling pop this season and it only took 2 1 on 1 F's training and an IS...I will be training rebounding next week and if he pops in that, that will open my eyes to the training of older players. Now, don't get me wrong, If he wasn't a NT player there is no way I still train him.

Trikster and I (see I spent it right!) know a guy who has been seriously training a 27 year old and his conclusions were that the speed of a 26-7 year old are somewhere about 50%-25% of the speed of an 18 year old, so bad but not impossible.

Well, since an 18y old can "generate" 12-14 pops in his first season, I'm say 4-6 pops for 27y old is not too bad.

Might also consider training stamina or free throws for the next couple weeks if you don't have a player you're intent on training.

I know, I can. But I really want to keep that to a minimum. A lot of my players wouldn't profit (enough) from it.

I'm training 2 SF's and a C (to become a PF) and am able to fill one of those trainingspots (because of injury of a SF) with a 30y old PF (international til a week ago, starter in my team) or with a 23y old SG (rotation player in my team). Since I'm also taking my position in the ranking in consideration, I was in doubt what to train now. I want(ed) to make the best choice considering training and ranking. This week I chose to train the 23y old SG, but it might have cost me the game. Don't know what the choice will be next week.
