I think if you make the bid, you are really just paying the sales tax, not the actual bid amount. So as long as you have enough cash to cover the tax cost, then you can buy back your player from the TL.

How much in debt were u maybe thats why your player was on the market. I know players can be listed to clear debt but i think thats only when your over 500k in debt

Come on Aussie you know this, it is only the last step before bankruptcy and then all of your players are listed at $1 in a last chance to get you positive before you are fired. It happened to an Aussie divsion II team this season but I can't remember who.

If you were in debt by more than 500k for a week then the system will automatically list your player on the market.

Your account would not have been compromised if this is the case :)

I was only around -100k. Was never close to 500k.
