Well Black Label Society is still on top but I must mention that at one point in the 3rd they were actually losing to the lowly Seagulls. But it is Kevin domination at the top of the table with the Wombats strong as always and Slam ! being in championship mode. MonkeyBusiness are still making great use of their GM button to be in second spot for the Oil Tankers as I recall they were losing badly, logged on and suddenly went on a massive run, but perhaps it was all a dream. The Sharks have the ever powerful Whitebeard in 4th spot. Poor Calamari have to wait until probable bridesmaid Melbourne Goldfish and season already over Baxter Bogans get them some points but then have four of the bottom six in the Weast.

For the second week in a row the winner of the Zivaid Gulbani award for excellence is the Skyhook Dreamers.

Obviously ladders are already volitile early in seasons and look at the way Kevin has suddenly lept ahead of the Sharks. The Oil Tankers remain mediocre and the Calamari remain atrocious but Kevin are looking like the team to beat after this week and a great chance to repeat their season six championship. It must be their great organisation, leadership and active Federation. Well done Kevin!

Monkey Business lost to the Smeltztroopers which must have the II.1 teams worried that he is even stronger than an ABBL playoff team. In one of the top matches Whitebeard showed he had a lot more firepower than the Wombats in what could be a preview of the ABBL finals. Slam ! continues to slam everyone and surely will be making the ABBL next season unless the Titans can stop them. In the south the CROCKERS are no crock this season and should be a force in the South this whole season.

Well a week of dramatic changes. Kevin had a massive drop, the Sharks also had a large drop. I am pleased to say that despite the poor showing of the Chelsea Seagulls the team that picked up an impressive 15 points was the Calamari. Obviously Baxter Bogans leading the entire league is an inpressive start, but the Melbourne Goldfish and Possum Chasers also perform well and in the South the shepparton shooters, Moorditj Magick and Kynlala Knights are all doing well giving the Calamari a strong base. I must give special mention to Slam ! again, with so many ABBL teams for a division II team to be 4th is an impressive feat.

That was wrong sorry.

Somehow I messed up the sort and has chosen ascending instead of descending for one of the sort parameters. Now fixed. Much better for the Sharks and Kevin, worse for Calamari and Tankers.

There is an issue with the ladders. (I feel like the BBs) I will look at them later tonight and fix them up.

It has been a bit of a gap and while some things have changed (Seagulls and Knights no longer tanking, Slam ! tanking and Naker back to tanking, Smeltz looking to go the way of the Dinosaurs) other things have stayed the same like BLS and Whitebeard being on top of the ladder. The ABBL teams still hold all 10 top spots on the ladder but it is good that some of the division II teams are now taking some wins off them and the competition is a lot more interesting for them having a variety of opponents.

But the real moment everyone has been waiting for, holding by the barest possible margin of one PD, the prestigious Zivaid Gulbani award for excellence for the seventh week in a row is the Skyhook Dreamers!

First after my laptop died I have had to do this all over again by hand which was annoying. So there is a big chance I have messed something up so if anyone could let me know if they see a problem it would be much appreciated.

Well there is not one race this season but two. The Calamari and Oil Tankers can't possibly catch the top teams and will be fighting to avoid the wooden spoon. How did we mighty Calamari go from winners to losers so quickly?

The most exciting race is between Kevin and the Sharks who despite losing Smelts are just two points behind. Can they catch up? The battle at the bottom of the south could in the end determine this if Skyhook Dreamers can pass Bringing Sexy Back. Only three regular seasons to go. Come on Calamari!

Some big movers this week for example Team Lordy moving five places courtesy of a 100 point win from the Smeltztroopers who will be dropping like a stone over the next few weeks. It is tight at the top with BLS hanging onto first spot over WB by a 6 PD margin but with WB looking to pile on Gisborne this coming week while BLS has to battle the Supercats we could be seeing a new leader for the first time this season.

However there is even bigger news than a new leader. For the first time ever since the inception of the award, we have a new holder of the prestigious Zivaid Gulbani award for excellence, well done to the Warren Bulls managing to be just worse that Bringing Sexy Back and Skyhook Dreamers.
