Personally, I would never risk promotion on the chance for a better draft pick. Better to promote, and if you need a new trainee, buy one at the start of the next season.

Sure, as long as there's no weird foul outs or injuries. Yes, you'd be almost assured of a win.
But if I did that, and lost, I'd feel pretty stupid. Especially if I then got a draft pick with a big hole in an important skill.

I finished first on my league, thoughthere aren't many bots,most teams didn't scout (so it was like bots). I did manage to grab an 18 year old mvp... So, basically, you should at leat invest to get 20 points.-

Thanks! I was looking for an answer like yours, and I am scouting minimum for 20 k, now im scouting for 30 k.
On secound thought do you know when we can scout again? The scouts are a bit slow...
