In my case 2-3 zone works exzactly the oposite you say. It limits my assists to bigs, it limits their shot count and percentage. It increases guards driving to the basket but doesnt increase 3pt shoting. Offense seems to freeze playing Li against 2-3 zone. While in 1v1 my team usually scores 80% after assits to compare agains 2-3 around 50%.

i usually play quite good against 3-2 defence with my LI, man to man is normally the better choiche i think, may depend also a bit on your sf.

The number of assist is quite normal, and the big advantage of 2-3 zone is the rebounding overall offense quality of the opponent isn't changed much, the shot distribution change a bit as you say outside but it is an exchange you can do without raising the point per possesion by your opponent.

well you're in the top league. by that time, 3-2 zone is no longer a good choice against most teams when they play look inside. (too much passing / driving / offensive flow)

ok, my last game vs. 2-3 zone. From the B3: (45599350)

I would have easily lost vs. man to man? his salary was much higher than mine. (i was like a d2 team vs. a d1 team)
i had an $80k center, and $60k PF. he had $200k center, and over $300k PF!!!
also, his PG was almost $148k, mine only makes $36k

He had 2 full levels higher offensive flow, but i had 10 more assists! (and less turnovers). He also had 2 full levels higher inside scoring & inside defense. Yet i shot a higher %. He even had higher rebounding. All i had was higher outside defense. but i won because of the 2-3 zone.

edit: it was a neutral court game, so no home court advantage

you would have controlled the boards, if he didn't play 2-3 i get nearly 4 extra level of rebounding when playing it that +40-50%.

Raztting wise i expect an big enthusiam or gs advantage for you(didn't check the salry)

I had three games against the same opponent this season(2* BBB one PL), where i played 2-3 two times of it, the PL match was even in the same week like the second game(so my roster was basically the same, besides the first quarter injury of my SG during the BBB match)

(45458066) 2-3

(45455837) mtm PL
(45611112) 2-3

Edit:
When you compare salary, this 2-3 loss might be intresting to it was a very close game beside the qulity difference of both teams:

I was abl to upset the top team in my conference last week and I am looking to make another upset this week. The team I am playing against ALWAYS uses "Look Inside". From what I can tell from the salary...He has two solid inside guys but one really good SG (getting paid more than the post players). Is it smart to play a 2-3 defense? or should I just stick to Man 2 Man? My team is pretty good defensively especially around the perimeter at the SG and SF positions. Opinions?

If your guards are good in passing, handling and perimeter defense, then you can try 2-3 zone. Passing being the most valued skill here cause Look inside gives importance to passing very much. Decent ID is required, too.

In Look inside SG shouldn't shine so I think you shouldn't fear his 10k SG. You have to stop his PF if he's playing Look inside. PF gets the most boost from LI. It's advisable that your PF has some guard skills and pretty strong def and rebounding.
