Of course they are high enough. They make a big difference!

secondaries of the second guy are not high enough to make a difference..
..

Sorry but I think this is a pretty silly statement. Of course they're high enough for D3 amd they're significantly better than the secondaries or the 1st guy. Plus well rounded players are better than one dimensional players at every level, not just high divisions. The 2nd guy is also going to have a much lower salary which will be important for rounding out a D3 roster.

If this is for D.3 I wouldn't take either one, I would get one with better ID. I would rather have someone like 13/13/13/7 for inside skills with good stamina and FT and decent secondaries.

best situation: I would buy both and play them as twin towers. :)

but seriously, the first question to truly ask - what tactics do you like to play?

second question: who is your other inside man whom you are planning to pair this new acquisition of yours with, and what are his skills?

All that is fine but you're ignoring stamina, FT shooting (the other guy has huge advantages in both) and salary (remember the owner is in D3 and the difference is going to be fairly substantial).

This is the exact reason why more and more people have been taking bigs with lower 'Center' skills and higher 'guard' skills. Far more bang for your buck. And this guy is +13 in the so-called guard skills over the other guy. That's a lot of free bang.

All that said, I think the guy with the higher stamina and higher guard skills will outpreform the other guy anyways.

I like to have a balanced kind of offense with the threat to go inside or outside but play a lot of PTB.
I plan to pair him with a big that has more ID and relatively high JS/JR.

Check the Suggestions they are important

It depends. If you really, really like seeing baby poop green when you look at your players' skills, the first guy has that. But the second guy is better than him by a decent margin, for many of the reasons discussed above.

A third, possibly better, option would be to look for a C who has similar (or better) secondary skills but more of his inside skills allocated to defense instead of offense. If your big men have good passing skills, often they can be effective offensively with quite a bit lower inside shot, as their passing sets them up for uncontested dunks. Just something to consider!

In think my style/philosophy is different than yours. 13/13/13/7 doesn't really appeal to me.

Well your style lacks inside defense, I think in D.IV the ID on starting bigs should be atleast 11 or 12 but maybe thats just my tough league

ID is far more important than IS.

When you consider the importance of both skills, IS is one part of several skills needed to get a successful basket. ID is primarily what creates unsuccessful shots. 10 IS a lot less beneficial than 10 ID.

Same goes for OD.

As a result, I wouldn't be looking at either of those Cs on my team.
