ditto. I have 12 players, 1 is Carbo, who sucks. just have the 1k guy have whatever minutes. 90 if you want to. then have your REAL roster have 55-70 minutes (which I think is the sweet spot for GS management) they have around there, just put in the people who don't have 48 and back up the players that have less than 60 minutes. that's what I do and it's good. I usually come out with coleman and catandil near 9 GS all the time along with Forjaz.......just got a new guy and he already poped to 9 GS too

i used to keep 9 game shape or high 8 all the season and still managed to won championsip in div 4 while taining my guards. they used to play 72-78 minutes mostly per week. the secret to maintain this high game shape with so many minutes is to have doctor with massage speciality:) noticed huge improvement in game shape after i bought him. before those guys were training equaly 48mins at pg then goes next game at starting sg pozition, was swaping theme very game. so without massage speciality they managed to have somwehere around 6 to 8 game shape.

long story short 13 players works well

I concur. Although I end up varying how and where my players lineup for training and tactics, I've pretty much had an effective 13 man roster for about the entire time I've been here. (I currently have 14 but the 14th is a fairly cheap draftee of mine, so I don't really look to fire him as he'll pick up minutes once I complete some player movement.)

A trainee getting 48 minutes in one game and being the backup/reserve in a different position in the second league game has been pretty effective for me in GS management. Having good enough backups usually means that I can be confident my starters won't go beyond 36 minutes too frequently unless I really want them to or if someone gets hurt.
