Yeah, but mostly in defensive skills only.

You have to do the math for your final skillset. My ideal height came out at 6'8 despite most of the levels being in OD.

It also isn't very sustainable training wise (at least, that I have found). You can do a big push but then a new set of guys really breaks it... May have to rethink it, maybe there is a way to cycle things better.

Well...

You can only train 3 guys at a time. And probably normally only 2 guys well, given bb loves to stuff up training minutes

And it would probably take 7-8 season's to train them.

And since you can only train your trainees the same way, you either end up with two bags who can't defend inside, or two small who can't defend outside. Which is useless without their opposite player.

And since not many of these players exist, you'd be hard pressed to nab one off the market.

It's an interesting idea, but would require a lot of effort and coordination to work, and you'd probably need to cooperate with another manage to train up the opposite player to your guy, and then trade. And even then, you only end up with 2 players like this, not a teamful.

I just quickly skimmed this short thread(im lazy) and im assuming your talking about training a starting 5 of SFs?

You could grab three, One position train them until their skills that require one position training are at the point that you want them. Then you get 2 more trainees(or even 3) and you do all the two position training together. Afterwards you one position train the newer trainees. Youll end up with 3 players much older than the other 3, but they would still be useful into age 34 or 35 since a balanced skillset drops skills slower.

Its possible, however unlikely :)

Excuse my ignorance but the question is in a similar vein as this thread. I cant remember if players can change position during the season through training or if this happens between seasons?

E.g. If I am training young potential SF's who are listed as SG's and they are close to changing to SF's how can I determine how close they are to changing i.e. what skills will tip them into SF and vice versa for other positions C to PF etc. I know buzzer-manager will give you a salary based on position but where can I find out what skills are required to to determine a position. It would be handy to know as towards the end of the season I may adjust my training so that a player will fit into a certain category. Meaning if my C needed 3 more pops in JS to become a PF I may adjust his training if it means I will pay less salary for the entire next season.

Hope this makes sense.

A player's position can change during the season (though obviously his wage doesn't change). Position is determined by whichever position gives the highest wage I believe. So it's not possible to manipulate position to give a lower wage.

Not sure about that. I trained up Dan Gardner's OD and PA and he switched from a C to a PF a season or two ago - but the salary calculator says that he'd have a way higher salary if he was a C.

Depends which salary calculator you have been using. Most are outdated.
