some tips to help you:
1. manage game shape well
2. pick an offense and focus on acquiring players for that offense
3. decide if you want to sell your 18 yr mvp for a lot of money and use the money to buy cheap, effective players; or train him and the 18 year old perennial allstar - but you will need to buy a level 4 trainer (preferably with fitness specialty)
4. read rules on training - every minute to 48 minute and every week counts

good luck and most importantly, win or lose, enjoy the game.

um what if he buys some 31 yr old vets? well good thing is he's not in a monster conference like V.89 Great 8 (whew!) that means he can purchase some good 27 yr old 9kers.....and hopefully your right about the cheap part. but the bolded part is...........for later on, Like what if he buys some vets? wouldn't he need a career extension? and anyways can't you train stamina in short wks?

You could train stamina in short weeks, but when your trainee is young, it's hard to waste even a single week of training.

Better to use short weeks for 1v1/JS/RB training.

Then, if your trainees need stamina, or free throw training, train those when they are done with their other skills. ST and FT training aren't affected by age, nor by trainer level. So, bunch all that training together, use a cheap, low level trainer.
