I dunno where your going with this anymore

1) Gameshape is an important facet of the game to learn. Don't take my statement to mean that it isn't important, it clearly is.

2) Gameshape is not the end all stat to decide whether or not a team wins. The factors that influence the outcome of a game are more apparently in lower divisions where teams are not as well maintained as they are as the ranks are climbed.

Perhaps a better thing for me to do would be to point to the lineup card antics that the OP has as the reason why he or she cannot currently beat opponents with equal or lesser talent.

You've said a couple times that game shape is more important at higher levels which is incorrect. This can be a poisonous thought because it can lead to managers in lower leagues not doing everything they can to maintain game shape, such as constructing their roster in such a way that certain players are bound to get too many minutes.

All your arguments supporting this have been along the lines of (paraphrasing) "GS isn't as important at lower levels because you can sometimes win without it, and a lot of your opponents suck at it, unlike higher leagues". This argument is BS because you can replace GS with virtually any skill or strategy in this game and those things will still be true; it is not at all specific to GS.

and if they blindly follow that a 9gs is going to win them the most games, then your walking a significant percentage of the semi-active D.IV and D.V teams into more lost games than they would have with less than optimum GS. Go tell teams with one 50k player that they can barely afford how to better run their team, and then my point is poisonous.

I don't really feel the need to defend one sentence taken out of a paragraph from my first post in here over and over again. I said that it would be smart to get into good tendencies, or something quite similar to that.
