so one is for pters and the other is for regular shooting..

Let say you play outside iso. Would jump range play the heavy hand.. or would jumpshot skill play the heavier hand.

Or are you explaining they cordinate and the jr is the accuracy rating he has? But jumpshot helps somewhat

JS and JR both work together on 3 pointers. The interplay between them is unclear and their relative importance is also murky. All I can say with confidence is that you need both JS and JR to be a good 3 point shooter.

IMO in any offense JS is more important than JR because JS is by far the most important factor on 2pt shots, helps a lot on 3pt shots, and also plays a smaller role in contested inside shots. JR only helps on 3pt shots.

I still think you have the right formula. Also this data is not factoring in the Defenders OD. Also, it is well known that the closer to the basket the shot is, The GE starts to factor in the defenders ID.......So, I don't believe that JR is only for 3 pointers...that just sounds strange to me..

Like if when you step on the 3 pt line you don't know how to shoot any more :D
