Haha sorry, I had a little tantrum and posted it on the forum to vent.
I dunno it just seems like...there's way too much emphasis on the whole "Take it Easy" tactic and game readiness/enthusiasm (which I think is stupid to begin with...I mean, since when is taking it easy in a game of basketball ever a tactic? And how come you can take it easy and then that makes you MORE motivated for next game?? Shouldn't it go by momentum? Hot streaks/cold streaks etc??).
But anyways, I'm admitting I don't understand why I lose to teams who play their players considerably less money. I scout other teams, I think I know what to look for in players, and I'm always patient in my purchases, careful with game tactics, I fill roles and holes with vet guys who can defend the shit out of it and what not...but just get dismantled by teams who don't seem to have many good players and they usually do so to me on "take it easy" even if I decide to go "crunch time" or "normal". Like, I guess I'm asking, is the whole take it easy thing to raise enthusiasm really one of the most crucial things in the game? More important than talent? I just feel a bit naive and out of my depth haha.
