Wouldn't that be why you SHOULD invest in the scouting? To get a better picture on who's good enough for your team. If you don't scout anyone you will have even less chance to put any good ones in. I finished first last season and picke two players that was good enough for the first team. One is now mentioned as one of four possible national players after next election.

Sometimes I think, sometimes I don't

Not really because I invested the maximum amount for an entire season, and my pics weren't that good. With the money I could've saved I would have gotten atleast one real good youngster to train. I mean if you're focussing on NT players etc. then by all means stick to the Draft system... As a numberone team it's simply not the best option in general... Let's see how the new changes will be

@ Kingofnewyork I also noticed that you had a few bots in your league as well, that's one reason you probaly got real good draft picks eventhough you won your league ;-) In my league there's not one BOT plus the other managers spend alot for scouting so I'm guaranteed last and worst picks regardless how much cash I stuff in scouting..

I think the highest skill level a draftee can have is respectable. The highest salary I've seen is around $6k/week. Usually, the A's and B's are players with salaries in the $3k-$4k/week range.
