The Springfield Storm have taken a big step in their rebuilding project, winning the bid for 20 year old phenom Jordi Zurita. Zurita averaged 23 points and 14 boards a game in a weak division last season. He rose his game to another level during the relegation series, averaging 36 points and 24 rebounds. He is widely regarded as a player who has been well coached and has a very high ceiling. It has been rumored that Springfield could be shopping veteran Center Kwok Jun Dai in an effort to get Zurita significant playing time. Judging from his scouting report, he is most regarded as a Center with a good outside game. He is considered more of an offensive threat than Kwok Jun Dai, although he is still grasping the defensive aspect of the game. Jordi Zurita will join teammate, Denis Radzevich as the team's main trainees and building blocks.

"Early Injury and Stagnant Offense Earn Delpra Loss in Opener"

The excitement before tip off was abuzz in the Google Center as team Delpra opened their season at home against spenn. The newly arrived Chicago Kings Storm opened against the reconstructing Springfield Storm in what turned out to be an overtime thriller. The Springfield Storm looked very different from their appearance in the last season's finals as many of the familiar faces were traded away. The question mark leading into the season opener was who would fill the scoring roles vacated by the players that Springfield's management traded away. Indeed, the offense looked to struggle at times, finishing on a measly 31-for-105 shooting (29.5%). The Kings Storm managed to steal the game in the overtime period despite offensive struggles of their own.

pretty much, you draft a team (draft is tomorrow) and depending on how the real life players you draft do in real life you get statistics (points, rebounds, blocks, assists, steals, field goal percentage, 3 pt percentage, etc...)whoever totals in the most ... in that category, gets a win in that category for their record. simple explanation
