come on now. It doesnt take much to figure out that LI was (is) the strongest up to this point.

And regarding future changes: if LI will still be dominant then you got a point, but what happens if suddenly we have to use RnG,isolations, PtB, motion? Dont you think that having more previous experience with those tactics would be a huge advantage?

But you're basing your argument on a hypothetical, it's tough to criticize somebody based on something that hasn't even happened yet. That's all I'm saying.

Plus does having Naismith experience really give you, I or most of the managers on that level a huge advantage playing those other tactics? We both play LI in any important match right? I think the last time I truly experimented with other tactics on a game to game basis was in D3 and I'm betting that your situation isn't much different. Plus if they do make changes to the game engine we'll all be experimenting to see how those changes will have an effect on games.

Well, we are speculating here who would be better in upcoming seasons. I am not criticizng anyone, jus tsaying that in my poinion kozlik has much more experience and that in this term it could be worth a lot.

And although I am not playing different tactics as much as I would like, I did play it couple of times and learned more in Naismith then I did in all lower leagues combined, thanks to having better players and more options available.

But dont you agree that a person knowing more tactics, and more about those tactics will have significant advantages over others? We had a chance to take a risk and gain that advantage but community chose security, and that is completely fine. Doesnt mean I have to agree with it since I wanted to take a risk. 2nd place is a 1st loser

Tactics are tactics, there are 10 different offensive schemes and 7 different defensive schemes. On the national team level, how many of these tactics are used? Maybe ~3 on Offense and ~2 on D. It doesn't take a 'Rocket Surgeon' to figure this shit out. Where a true National Team Rep earns is value is doing the community stuff, not only do Canadian Team Reps manage the tactics, but they manage and promote the community as well.

This is where Bballin has almost everyone beat, and he has shown to be an active and positive community member, and well as a great advocate for the managers of Canadian Buzzerbeater. I proudly voted for him.

Didn't participate in or read debate. Voted Bballin. He's just one of the most well-liked users whose done fine tactically (grown since his U21 stint) and goes beyond his means with community and team development efforts.

So, sorry to Kozlik, who is clearly capable of managing the roster and line-up just as effectively. You're just unknown. I think after 2 legit campaigns he should be up for consideration of an offsite invitation, though. Worst case, he runs away when he sees the inactivity lol.

Agreed.

While other (bigger) countries have scouts and volunteers to do various aspects of helping the team (BBmailing, training plans, scouting, communicating, watching for managers going bot, etc) BBallin and I do all this legwork AND set lineups/tactics, etc.

The offsite is good for other managers to chime in with roster adds for injury/GS, and tactical decisions. It's not just the NT/U21 managers making these choices, but a handful of active offsite managers. The elected manager is the one who gets to click the buttons behind the scenes and make initial research and final decisions.

I like keeping the Canada NT for Canada, and while the outside interest is appreciated, I would hope as a community as a whole, "we got this" ourselves.

With the proposed changes, those 3 offensive and 2 defensive choices are likely to grow, and we must adapt or be further behind the curve of the stronger nations than we already are.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

Looks like former NT player Milot will be retired in about 12 hours.

So with that in mind, if you want to see kozlik on Canadas offsite go vote! http://w11.zetaboards.com/BB_ECU/topic/9168480/1/. Ill look at the results on Sunday morning.
