Now you mention this, I was thinking that it would also be good for BB to be more comprehensive about Fan Polls and arena attendance. Let's put this situation: imagine you have your 15k-seats hard-worked arena, you have not developed good draftees, but you have a couple of good free agents long term plus a nice bench, all of which, discounting staff, gives you some 5000 to 10000 surplus every week IF YOU SELL ALL the seats of your arena. Now, if attendance fluctuates about 50k of income depending if you win your last game, or drops too much if you had a bad rival-game or TV-game [perhaps you were aiming for a crucial win in the National Cup], you might be seeing a -40k or a -50k in economic flow with a 75% arena. In this case, the overextension tax IS PENALIZING you not because you're a short-term manager or just a plain bad-not-patient-enough BB player, but because you had a bad schedule, a bad game, maybe even an injury to your star guy, etc, etc.
in this example, not too far from any decent BuzzerBeater manager, you could set a great measure to improve the game have an effect all the contrary. I don't know now how is the algorithm for filling arenas right now in the game engine, but if I was a BB, I would really keep an eye and a tight grip in this relationship between economy, arena's algorithm and overextension tax.
