He's a bit over-priced, and not particularly good beyond the 3 primaries... but I put a bid on him. I don't think I'll go beyond that tho', should bidding break out.

Thanks, you saved me from having to bid on him. I already have three trainees running and he would have gotten a heavy dose of guard training for the first 3-4 seasons...... Now I don't have to make the tough decision for country this time. I do think my next round of trainees will be Japanese bigs though.

No probs. I said I'd help out on a good trainee, and despite where he's starting - he could end up pretty handy.

He'll be getting a heavy dose of guard training early on any way. Torii/Tomioka are my trainees, and they've had quite a bit of inside stuff already. My main guy's Torii - and he needs key guard skills to be higher!
All good tho'. I think that cost-wise it's most efficient to do secondaries first for either guards or bigs.

Great job, malice... I was focusing on Kobatons (33169496) in case that he won't log in and the player would put on the list. Well, he came back and let him play. I guess the boy will get some training now...

Well... he's not much now, but I figure around the time K-Mat's starting to wane, NO will be starting to look pretty damn good.

Tonight we have our second game of the season against India. India's world rank is 81, but from what I can tell looking at them they probably have a much better team than that. I think their team has probably been mismanaged the last couple seasons. This will probably turn out to be a competitive and challenging match up for us.

In roster news...... We have 3 guys this week who are at average game shape. I cannot accept players with lower than baseline (respectable) game shape and as a result these three players will not suit up for the game. This will be my standard policy on game shape.

As a result, I will call up three players to add to the National Team roster. I will be calling up Soichiro Motoori from Kitakyushu, Yushiyuki Miura from Mythical Man-Month, and Ichiro Ekiguchi from Stunners. This will potentially be Miura's first National Team appearance if he makes it into the game. Congratulations to all three for making the team this season.
