You never know for sure, I usually plan that I will miss the player for the amount of weeks + the game on the same day he was injured. So in your case, I'd expect him to be back for the saturday game next week.

My 2 starting guards (one a NT player on 190k salary) have gone down at the same time and its absolutely killed me, im struggling to avoid relegation in top league and its costing me games that i should have won! and possibly costing me a cup run as well! frustrating right

in bb reality it don't work that way// you when hire a player and fire him in same week or same month lateron , it goes up in the system as shady deal for profit.. high risk , low rewards. which a fine or team closure.

then you have league caps , if you haven't trained that player it goes versus tax exempt. which may put you over and 50% penalty plus the league cap penaltes.. plus shady deals in the rules.. which equals... a heavy fine and team closure.

IR / injured reserves in bb way should be money you put aside for that that cause at start of the season or mid season, to pay that player you call up for a week or 5 weeks. if want up to select 250K in IR for one 5-15k a week player then that's your call, it still money left over for future injuries cases. It would only work if you have injury to the team. it can be set as team safety net.

why spend a lot money on 1 player just sell in 5 weeks.. ??

Its about options. a injury reserve system would help.

How many player are sold for same price as bought.. ? little to none. you know why because market price value goes up and down. Who you know is going to buy a player for 100k and sell him back out for 100k when market say you can sell for 500K in 2 weeks.? Is that not a shady deal, ?? if the market says you can do it then managers will do it. but th does not mean that player was worth 500K$ it just supply and demand.

So you a bad manager then. Why are u supposed to be free of injuries? Everyone has chance of having injuries and everyone , well atleast good managers should prepare for them. Some guys use 7man roster, some guys saves some cash for a guy to buy of transfer market(like i always do, and just did because me star player got injuries for 2 weeks, and i wont relegate cause i saved some cash for that occasion if injuries happens). So basicly everyone is playing in similar conditions and if you dont prepare for them its ur fault, it means u worsier manager and in this case u are worth to lose those games and lose a cup run.

I dont think it make someone a bad manager because they didn't prepare for injuries, if in the highest league. the cost to hold players, is pushed to the max. Might of not had the finances to get other players.

I think injuries on the game need a real system for it like injuries reserves funds or get rid of it. that just my small opinion. It ok to disagree on that.
