Who knows. Given both our OD and offensive flow was higher than theirs, you'd think it would be the other way around, but whatever

Despite my best efforts, Venezuela tied their game against suomi, so as a result we fail to progress from the repacharge (interestingly, they only lost by 4 points - they would have been a pretty strong chance to go through themselves if they had a serious dip, but thems the breaks).

I'll assess how we'll approach the consol tourney once thw schedule is out, but I'll likely bring some young blood into the team at some point.

Is that all that kept us out of the worlds, 4 lousy points in a game we were'nt even playing in?

Na. We would needed venezuala to win by between 22 and 32 points. We were long shots regardless of what they did.

Mauro Palmeri (27376452) might be one of these?

He did rank a 16.5 over 23mins in the 3rd and deciding ABBL final in the SF position and whilst he might be overlooked for the Australian National team in the near future, he will most likely be coming up for sale in the next few weeks

27K a week SF who has 106 TSP and will probably hit 108 or 109 TSP in 2 weeks time.

Whilst on the National Team do we have any outside PG guards or combo talls coming on the market?

I was expecting you to nag for Williams, but not Palmeri. It is highly unlikely that he would get added, fair few players in front of him at this stage.

You talking PG/ tall prospects? Or those already in the team?

Dont care if they are in the team or not.

I want a clone of a younger Riviera.

Some one who can run the point, have monstrous defence, hit 3 point shots and have a salary under 110K.

With the tall, I want a little bit of a quality combo backup who can relieve both Marchini & Haydock and who has a salary under 130K.

Hoping that Palmeri will sell really well

OK, as has obviously been mentioned, the team is out of the race for the world cup. We'll enter the consolation tourney, but since we start it at 0-2, we'll need to basically win every game to make the finals of that.

But the consolation tourney isn't a big goal of mine. Obviously I'll still try to win, but the priority now is to set the team up for next season, so we can hopefully make the world cup then.

With that in mind, I'm going to be adding some young players, who are the future of the team over the coming weeks. These players will be given a chance to prove themselves for next season.

First cab off the rank, is Steve Pierce. Pierce is a 25 year old PG, who plies his trade with Black Label Society. Prior to joining the Society, Pierce was trained by the since botified Alderly Albatrosses, and prior to that, the Glenelg Tigers. As can probably be seen by his numbers in division 2 this season, Pierce probably isn't going to light up the stats sheet. But he'll add some much needed defensive toughness and teamwork to the team.

Welcome to Pierce!

I should note that I've been too lazy to do detailed writeups this season, and with the world cup gone, I'm less inclined to do MVP votes etc. But I'll try get back to doing a short writeup each week.

First up, we play the Bahamas. If we lose that, something is wrong.
