Or I can use 3-2 and let the two of them be those 2?

Whatever defence you use, I think you'll get ripped apart. A guy with 7 ID and 8 OD just simply doesn't cut it, he'll get slaughtered in whatever position you play him.

yeah. I think I think I will test it and see if SB alone will be enough. I just hope it is :)

I'm certainly curious to see the results. A failed experiment that gives you insight is still by far better than following someone else's recipe.

I think it will not fail.

I will play them as SF and PF then as PF and C in defense. Using the 3-2 zone with at least two great outside defenders. I strongly believe that there OD will help them limit the touches of the big men of the other side. While there blocking would protect the rim against the drive of guards.

But the test is still a year from now. haha

I'll scrap your plan right there if thats the way your looking at going. A zone is never better then what your weakest player is. So if you got a bad defender somewhere in it your opponent will find that player and play around him all game long.
If your going to use a zone you will have to make sure you have got three high OD players defending outside.

If I could +100 a post, this would qualify.

If you run a 3-2 zone, and any one of the three guys defending the PG/SG/SF position have low OD, that player will be torched most of the time. (I would say always, but the random number generator sometimes does things like having guys projected for 96 PP100 shooting 0-11 through three quarters). It's more important to have three good outside defenders in the zone than in man to man - in M2M, if your opponent doesn't have a good outside shooter at SF, an SF with low OD may not be punished as much, but in the zone, he'll also defend the SG and PG at times, and those times are three point parties.
