Yes i think it is worth it in many cases.

You get a first scouting on 19 Players for the Price of 10.

I used ist several times now and the 19 Player never were the crap that you might think when you only look on the 1 oder 2 Grey balls before.

Half of them i think have 4 or 5 Balls in Skill-Rating. With 10-12 Points more for the second scouting for the best of them you should find 2-3 with a Potential of 3, 4 or 5.

- It is a good thing when you have not more than 25 Points to use
- It is a good thing when it is not necessary to find the perfect 6'0 PG or 7'3 C.
- It is okay when you dont have a good Draft Position either and only small hope for the perfect 5/5 Player

If I've counted correctly (and I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong) there are 5 economic updates before the draft. So 5x4 pts.

Yes, they upped the maximum skills on 19 year olds; they can not come out of the draft with skills as high as Strong (8) while 18 yo's can only have max Respectable skills.

Quick question: If I'm in a league full of bots and I am on top of the standings, what's the best way to approach the draft? Will I pick based on the final standing or will I get the top pick since I'm the only human manager in my league? How much should I spend on scouting points weekly? Thanks in advance. :)

You will draft based on your standing, so last. However, the bots pick randomly so you have a decent chance to get your top pick (unless it gets drafted at random before you, about 33% chance for that).

Group demo is good.

When you don't draft high.
When you don't want to spend a lot of points.
When you are satisfied with an all-star potential.

I use it mostly when I don't have a high draft pick and I am looking for an extra trainee the next season.
It is most fun to train own drafted players.

You get like 19 players. Mostly 7 of 8 are worth to interview. star rating 4,5 balls.
Out of this normally 3,4 have like 3 or more potential balls.

So for around 26 scouting points, you get mostly a nice trainee, which in a few seasons can be a nice back-up.

Only in the dark, we succeed!

What does three ball potential mean? How good of a player is that, potentially speaking?
