How do candidates plan on involving the community in player development?

How are candidates hoping to work with the current and future NT coach/coaches?

How many seasons do you hope to be U21 coach?

What skills do you bring to the role that will contribute to the community?

What roles would you like on your staff?

Hi, I answer your questions in the form of a list.

1) This is one of the biggest problems in the Italian community, which we have tried to solve by setting up weekly games with a final prize (a player's call at a friendly end of the season).
I honestly do not know if this could work, but we can try it.

2) I think there are bands of players who have to be trained since the early years, according to the national team, while others, not many, can hope to be part before the U21 and then the Major.
In any case, a synergy of intent with the coach of the Major and the guidelines for shared training by the national community must be created.
3) I believe that in order to impose my vision of the game it takes at least 2 mandates, because at the first mandate came the team (20 years and 21 years, but also 19 years), so my imprint would begin to be seen from the age of 18.

4) I'm not sure I understand your request but my contribution to the English community will be a great multi-year experience in scouting and growing prospects for U21 and Nt. An excellent training and scouting system is critical to achieving results.

5) The roles are quite simple: scouts for the three types of players, scouts to follow the players, while for game preparation I would use the system we have here in Italy.

A group of people who advise me, but then I take the decision autonomously, referring only to things done.

q1: Communication seems to be the obvious answer? Direct contact with managers, forums posts with match reports, I'd try to do vaguely creative things as well. If we had a private English forum it'd give more scope for openness about specific players / how close they are to the team, etc, but every NT manager has to deal with this. (if anyone has a good idea for what would work as a forum/private chat channel for NT+u21 stuff go for it)

q4: I kinda love a spreadsheet? If I get the job my first idea is to scout all 20 and 21 year olds over a certain salary (TBD) who might make the squad this year. Scout how many minutes per week they were playing last year as well as their skills...I might even make some kinda personal formula to rate each player for each position rather than just eye-testing stuff. Maybe I could post a depth chart of the results (I saw Cletus has started this for the Canadian u21s). I don't think it'll give too much away to other nations.

Q2/q4: Another thing I'd do before the squad locks is scout all 18/19 year olds over mvp potential (maybe superstar?) and message every manager asking about their training plan / letting them know they could potentially make an NT player / or advising them to sell if they want the cash more. If any player u21 does have NT potential I'd defer to the senior manager regarding training plans, etc. Anyone under P.Allstar is miiine and I'll mine them for all the potential they have though.

Q5ish: On the above that's probably not a one person job really. I also know there are better + more experienced trainers in our community, so I'd appreciate help / advice in this area. Maybe we can come up with some examples of player builds to aim for to include in a template first message? (where we is the u21 manager/NT manager/general experienced managers/scouts/committee). If it was a bigger nation I'd say we should split up management of the younger age group officially, but I doubt there'll be an overwhelming number of messages incoming (pops, training plans, etc). I'd be up for letting someone else do that either way if it's of interest though.

Q3: Hard to say. I can't see me leaving BB any time soon and I'm not planning on anything crazy lifewise like having a kid so as long as it's going well and people approve of what I'm doing and I stay interested...Longer than one term is definitely possible.

I have a question, based partly on my own experience, and how I ended up failing to do what I really wanted.

Will your enthusiasm for the job wane if you find you can't generate the interest you're hoping for? England is a small nation in BB, though I do believe we're big enough to compete, but sometimes its difficult to both generate, and then keep up the enthusiasm for the representative teams.

I'm not sure how much it's about enthusiasm / how much actual enthusiasm I have anyway? Every politician promises things they can't deliver right? But you vote based on thinking you align with their principles (ew, the thought of having matching philosophies with career politicians, but you know what I mean..)

I'd be quite happy to take the job if it was just monitoring the top 30 prospects for their training progress and game shape, picking the best of them, scouting opposition and setting tactics. Ultimately I enjoy the tactical part of BB a lot as well...But I want to aim higher than that? If I generate any extra interest/enthusiasm among others then it might catch on and become a thing of it's own (lthat saying about snowballs and hills..), especially if we get a new NT manager who agrees / can do their bit next year (no offence Zeus, but it seems you're not long for the job based on that approval rating...maybe you can bring it back though / and maybe you are interested in looking at some of the young future NT prospects, I'd find out..)

I'd also need to speak to you (and probably js8) about what has/hasn't worked in the past. Or if you want to be open about it in this thread then go for it.

I should have replied to everyone instead of Bergkamp but I did intend my question to be for both of you. Sorry for not making that clear.

I work for several years in the staff of Italian national teams. I also trained micronas such as Barbados U21 (taking her to the highest position ever in ranking) and Indonesia U21.

Although I come from the greatest community of the game, I can work even in smaller communitie.

I think I can do a good job, and my enthusiasm however things will not decrease, indeed I hope to transmit it to you.

Any more questions for me? (go off topic!)

Not long to register for anyone else who wants to stand, I'm still kinda worried someone is gonna go for it so maybe this question is premature, but if I didn't stand were any other English managers planning to?
