Oh wow, we were in the same league together 4 years ago. How wild is that?

Wow. I don’t know how we just gave up an 18 point lead going into the 4th quarter but that just happened. 10th, I don’t think you’re making the playoffs with how good flashover and SHM are. You’re selling off all your players, and those outside looking in teams (Flashover and SHM) are extremely dangerous.

I agree completely. After giving up a more than 20 point lead myself the other day I realized that my team was just not going to cut it. I decided to sell all of my players and demote out of this hellish conference. I will go back down, train and rebuild without spending much money, slowly build up a decent team, then when the time is right several seasons from now I will buy two or 3 players with my nest egg to push me over the top. Good luck to you.

Wow that's a big compliment, as everyone is aware, I'm focusing on training on the C position. I haven't thought of making the playoffs at all. I will try though. Good luck everyone!

I think you’re a good enough manager to stay in D3, and still rebuild. I know our division is tough, but as long as you stay 7th or above, you can avoid relegation. Going down to D4 is a bit of a pain in my opinion. Unless you think you’ll run the table there and go 22-0. My goal is to never have to rebuild again. I’m going to focus on training players that are 25 and 26. Players that only need top offs, but are mostly polished.

Yeah after SHM had that huge comeback against me last night, it will be tough for your team to sneak in playoffs, but you’ve been within striking distance for most of the season. And I think you’ll be right up there pretty much every season. Your team is a tough out.

I just want to win it all this season, because it’s a very difficult division for D3. I want to get out of here hahah. Hopefully the team replacing Edmonton next next season won’t be that good. Even Edmonton has been a decent team.

But regardless, if I don’t win it.... I hope the league winner comes from our division so that we have at least 2 new teams in the division next season.

Perhaps, but atm my roster has quite a bit of value. Most of my relevant players are 25ish and can get a decent price on the market. If I keep hanging on with the whole 'wait til next year', next thing I know my players are worth half what they are now because they are almost 30 and I'm still in this lopsided conference. It's all good, I'm not in any hurry, promoting now will only mean a cellar dweller DII season followed by demotion anyway. I would rather bide my time, rebuild while holding a nest egg, and try to slingshot up so that when I hit DII I can actually compete. Good luck, hope it works out for you.

Yeah, I am not against your decision to sell with playoffs coming up. You can probably get some value out of your players. But you can still turn right around and be a buyer too. Go get some 22-23 year olds now with the money you’re getting back, so you can at least have a chance at surviving relegation if you don’t make playoffs.

It is pretty ridiculous when the last place in our conference holds a record that will allow him to make the playoffs on the other side. LOL
