Ned i don't think so.... My team had always a good average shape and they play always beetwen 36 to 80 minute

if you want i take every week the minutes and shape level of the player that i train. I can show to you.

but after 3 season that i thake it i think that in general there is a lit bit of random in shape but only a bit

i have to agree - i think there is more of a random element.... the more i try to get the minutes nicely between 55-80 the more im surprised about the results - one week 0 proficients then 4 or 5.... i have a massage doctor and since then i've found it more difficult where I was hoping it would be easier to find an optimum minute level to target.

It becomes frustrating when as you say you have what you consider to be a perfect week 55-75 minutes across the board and then you end up with 2 strongs and 8 respectable GS.... where you really think you deserve 5 proficients and 5 strongs.

I think BB-staff is trying to force us to train "Game Shape". This season GS is an absolute disaster. For me, it´s like "Stamina" 2 seasons ago, we could train it, but we never did it. First they forced us to train stamina, and now.....

IMO of course ;)

They are certainly not. And if you manage your minutes well then there should be no problem at all with your GS. Keep it between 48 and 70 minutes and they will be high (strong+) all season for 90% of your players.

For me, game shape behaves exactly as it did in previous seasons. However, I am still looking for a way to stop my starters from playing 40+ minutes in close games :)

Improve your reserves so they can interchange more effectively. Or improve your starters so they have more of a commanding lead thus allowing your subs to feature!

I would imagine if Diney started at PF instead of Moreira then this might have had the desired effect.

(i am assuming based on a glance at salaries alone that this may've given you a healthier lead going into Q4 where your subs couldve had the full 12mins + whatever they'd picked up at the end of previous quarters?)

Then I'm afraid I have no answer or explanation..... another one of BB's unsolved mysteries!
