Getting rid of retarded player potentials--I like games that are open-ended. If I want to train a player until all of his skills are wondrous, I should be able to, even if the guy is 28 or something. Do you actually think it`s possible to train 28y old basketball player a lot more as he`s trained till that age, it`s really unusual in reality for this to happen. Even most of the players stop develop them self after they reach 25y they just start to play more wisely cause of experience. I think you misunderstood me. If I want to take an 18yo draft pick and train him until he's wondrous in all skills, I should be able to do that, even if it takes until he's 28. Make more sense now?

I am curious to see suggestions that will improve the draft process without compromising its chief purpose. Up to now, all I've seen is a lot of "draft sucks" attitude, and little if anything that has practical value in terms of suggestions.

Its an honest insight to your lack of skills and i assume therefore you wouldnt even be put forward to even feature on a draft list... Trouble is 80% of the 48 drafts in every league seem to have the same skillset as yourself yet they are somehow on a court being spotted by guys at $5k a week!

But with a coach you should be adding the wage you pay to the value of the players you train. Are you not improving your roster by $300-500k a season with your training?

Regrettably, most of these will probably be unfeasible as stated, seeing that they all facilitate collusion.
