that was pretty much my reaction when i played them -- stunned shell-shock.

on the bright side, they can't hit a three.

so if we can play eight men in the box, maybe we can force the Visionaries to go outside.

i don't think anybody from DII.3 lost last week -- let's check out what's in store for this week:

NBBA

DII

DIII
ATL the Hawks at BuckNuts
Rdkin at Rashmonsters

DIV
Flash Mashers at 3PointPlayers
Accel Wolves at Footpath Leapers
Straight Cash Honey at Valhalla
Thunder Gods at Blood Kings ("where every game is a royal event")
The King and I at The Amazing Adams
Tucumari Whalers at AC's Boys
Window Lickers at Honolulu Purple Tide
CowMen at Visionaries

DV
Ron Swanson at Inebriators

Valhalla has not checked in for about a month -- his team's GS ratings are . . . low.

Otherwise, it looks like everybody has a great chance to advance yet another week. Best of luck.

I'm glad I have Valhalla this week, it'll give me a break and let me focus on the cup as well. I have a rather shallow roster at the moment.

Boo, didn't log in to BB this weekend to set a lineup, how come you can't set your default lineup to TIE...

I just go through my entire schedule and set every game to TIE. That way I only have to switch it for Normals and Cup Games.

maybe because PL games & scrimmages don't let you specify effort?
then there's the whole playoff normal / playoff CT thing too.
idk, just throwing it out there...

I can't decide whether I just made a brilliant move or a terrible mistake...

i was just thinking through the finances -- that is a great price for $150,000 a week, and still relatively young -- but you have to pay for his salary, possibly $600,000, with nothing to show for it -- total out of pocket, $750,000 -- which is closer to his real market value.

but he should be in fine shape for the playoffs.

interesting move.

That was my exact thought process although I'm afraid that he might be injured for five financial updates... The reason I feel safe is that I think his value is actually closer to one million seeing how he has 99 skill points.

I'll just have to wait and see

holy crapola -- shows how much i have been paying attention.

i thought the Flash Mashers were one of those wonder teams, going far on a modest salary. that still may be true, but with this last move, Chekreyes now has a team salary of over half a million dollars a week.

i have to change my narrative from "modest salary wonder team" to "i am spending one season in DII". Visionaries, you have been warned!
