He knows what he is doing so will be some difficult decisions for you with a few of your top liners have played their minutes already.



If he really knew what he was doing he wouldnt have signaled his intentions to play his best players by resting them and throwing a league game.

Im pretty comfortable with the decisions Ive made even though I might have a few top liners push 80 mins this week

My opponent just spent $5000 on a 200k PG (who is on a national team and can't be fired, not sure if he knows that) which is great since my 2 starting G's have gone down with injuries this week, hopefully the distinct lack of any other talent in shape on his team, gets me through... then maybe I could get my first home game of this year's Cup!

so im just thinking about this.
national team members can't be fired.

if i were national team coach, and I knew a league opponent of mine bought a high priced player whom they might not be able to afford for long (and he would probably fire him) - then I could promote him to the NT team and totally sink that league opponents finances.

Or conversely, if i was in financial trouble, I could demote a guy on my own roster from the NT team, fire him and then put him back on.

pretty evil really. hence why voting for NT coach is very important!

Yes, this would be a very rare situation, however; a very possible abuse of power available to said NT coach!

I reckon we vote Sid our next NT Coach huh?!



In the case of my opponent, I am not sure if it will bankrupt him as he might have some cash saved up, but if he doesn't get by me tonight, he will have invested very unwisely... even if he does get by me, it is still a questionable investment for that matter

wow just noticed that you have not had HCA in any Cup matches this season. Hopefully it'll balance itself out before you reach the neutral arena rounds.

Yeah, sucks hard! Even though I have been stronger than my opponents, it has made minutes/ training very difficult, not to mention GS and the great loss of my 2 starting G's in the week! Whilst having the top part of my conference to kick off the season... Doh!

Most high priced players would be on a nt already though you'd think ;)

To be honest though, anything that discourages the renting and firing of players is alright by me.
