We are in final 12. It's been a nail biter but we made it.

Here is where we stand:
World Championships: 12 teams qualify for the World Championships and are drawn into two first-round groups of six. The four second-chance qualifiers will be split between the two groups, with two in each group. Each group plays as round robin from week 4 until week 8. The top four teams advance to the final group, with the three results against other top-four teams from the first-round groups carrying forward. The remainder of the round robin is played from week 9 until week 12. The top four teams advance to semifinals during week 13 and finals week 14. The winning team are the World Champions of BuzzerBeater for the next two seasons!

In my opinion, we elected you to take the team as far as you think Canada can get. With that mandate, I would say that you try and get as far as possible. It would make sense to take a few calculated risks - no sense in playing safe as you have already met expectations.

I agree with jbmcrock. You have met expectations, and now it's time to see how we measure up with the best. We just want to go out of the tournament with our heads held high, regardless of ranking.

the draw looks good. good luck in the worlds, i think we should be able to get into top 8 fairly easily with the solid coaching skills that have been shown to date!

See you didn't even have to play a game, and you already managed to get the team into 4th place, which was the top 8 you were shooting for! ;-)
