Wait, does that mean that it's ok to train a worthless skill just because it doesn't add salary?

read the complete sentence please, the training is pretty strong, so you won't waste anything in training it ...

And there are lot team in germany who get succesful with training lot of driving, this could be and sign.

And every morning the sun rises half an hour after I get up, but that doesn't mean I make the sun rise. You have to do better than this.

You a an genious, sometimes succes depends on good decisiosn and not bad ones.

Listen leave that this is about SB usless thing in the game.

I have a center with colossal(19) SB that in his avg per game play 41 and do 0.8 SB

And i have a Shooting Guard with respectable(7) SB that ply avg 28 min and do 1.4 SB

Is that realistic? is the SB skill level is example for something realted to SB made in the game itself? NO!!!

How can a player with almost 1\3 skill level do almost X2 blocks per game for more the half seasen?!?

Do i really need more proofs for the current LAME SB SYSTEM?

Guess what blocking he has -> (4599819)
I am much more interested in what stamina he has.

pretty bad that you watch, his skills i guess ... it is allowed to do this? I just wanted to figure out if it possible to watch whch blocking skill he have is nearly impossible to see in the stats.
And i could tell you that other player with low stamina block also at that numbers, but with totally different skill.

So it is your buissness to spy your opponents also, because their skills could be intresting for you, too?

my best shot blocker have pretty low stamina, and lower BS and Stamina skills then all the other big mens ;)

And on the TL it look on a different way i don't know if today .. The best shot blockers with blocking +2 even have just 2 in stamina - so i hope that wasn't a ups i shouldn't say that.

Edit. ok just the best ;) The second is behind.

The real problem is the distribution. There is very little correlation between the shot blocking skill and the number of blocks. If somebody with no skill in shot blocking is blocking at 0.5 - 1.0 bpg -- those with the skill are blocking only a fraction higher -- then the skill is practical worthless.

I agree that distribution is a problem. I said this a couple of posts up.

I don't think this necessarily makes the skill worthless for centers, since shot blocking on guards doesn't help you as much when the opponent is playing an inside tactic.

The reason that's its worthless, is that the amount of blocks that a player with good and bad shot blocking skill level is only marginally different. In some cases, I don't think its different at all. That means the skill is adding nothing.

In any case, shot blocking is not modeled in a particular accurate manner.

What about 5 and 6? In my case, the 5 gets 2.2 and the 6 gets .9, and they both play inside, and around the same # of mins.

Is the 5's +2 in stamina really that much of a driver and, if so, then if you want more SB just train stamina?

edit - I have no reason to support a change, as I've made sure not to waste time training shot blocking on bigs where it doesnt appear to have much effect, while I have made sure to buy guards with good shot blocking which does appear to have quite a bit of effect.
