I dont agree with u. Few seasons ago there were tough times for young blood becose they werent able to collect 10M to keep up. Nowadays when old teams have no room to better their squads just to adjust them or tank it is way more easier to buy cheap 27yo fella or train off position very desireable guy. Just check b3 how many new teams showed up, check best leagues if there is that much everlast teams on top. I personaly love the new floor feature.

1 BBB, 20 Leagues, 10 Tournaments, 3 Europe Titles (SVK), 2 World Bronzes (SVK), 2 Europe Bronzes (SVK,FRA), 42 Seasons NT coaching

What about promoting in two seasons? In three? Not everyone tanks expecting to re-promote the very next season. In fact, I would think if people decide to tank it's because they realize that their long-term viability just isn't that good.

Also, what do you mean exactly by break-even? Because if I'm overmatched in a league, and I'm going to demote anyway, is there that big of a difference between winning 2-3 games and winning zero games?

I mean, I appreciate that you're trying to improve the game experience for everyone. I think tanking in the top leagues is an issue (like in the NBBA the past couple of seasons), but there's also a real issue of the huge leap between leagues.

For example, I went 22-0 in a D3 league this past season, and promoted into a D2 league where I'll be fighting for the 7th seed. The temptation to tank is strong, rather than piss away time/effort/money on a slim chance of sticking around, because I know I need drastic changes to be able to compete in the future. With the salary floor, my options haven't changed, they've just all become less effective. This doesn't stop tanking, or change it, it just makes it even less effective than it already was.

For positivity's sake, can anyone supporting the salary floor articulate a good strategy for teams like Stajan to follow?

(to any BB reading the deleted post, my bad I had him confused with another team)

The problem is, it's a bad strategy that made the game less fun for other teams in the league, and that's the point at which it becomes a problem.

im curious..what if i some managers have fun with rebuilding their team because competition aint a factor anymore since div I and cup is dominated by one single team..and no one will ever be able to beat this team? (41768)

(and dont get me wrong..im not jealous of teams like that..i have fun the way im playing this game)

Even though I like this new PSF and it sounds reasonable, I think it is not adequate. It is a good start. I hope that limit (procentage) will not be raised. Raising the procentage would harm some teams, who don't deserve it. If you build your team effectivily you should not be "punished". Current level seems quite right.

Next step should be reducing arena incomes for teams who are not even trying to win. How anyone can get over 500k from ticket sales if team has lost last five games in a row by over 40 points. If you have promoted you will get huge income from arena for the whole season regardless of your success. I think I know this ;)

Also, how merchandise can be same than player salaries? It should also have some kind of more tight connection to player ratings or so (not necessarily to players salary).
