For a moment there i was hoping for another II showdown, but i guess my luck ran out. Time to erase any possible doubt about HCA in my conference and then gear up for the PO's. It's time to rejoin start preparing to rejoin the big buy's.

I suppose it's a bluff because with 3 wins ahead, the race to the HCA is allready over in your division :p

i got 2 options:

a) try to bully my way with an inferior roster in the cup, to gain a round more (which already is unlikely of happening) only to end up facing the big 3 ( Mizu, Spartans or the Cowboys). but doing so would require me giving up a game per week. 3 game lead would then be erased, something which i'm not willing to risk

b) get 4 more wins, secure HCA through-out the entire PO's, search the TL for a nice addition, plan the minutes on my players and optimalize my last couple of training weeks.

So truth be told, i could bluff. But i'm not willing to risk my good position for another round in the cup. granted an extra 90k wouldn't be bad. but there just isn't a way to justify the risk. if we just consider the starting 5, Eagles roster has a 150k to 200k cash advantage. now i'm probably one of the few people who have learned not to believe in ratings and in salary on players, but even i know that there is a limit to that. and a 150k to 200k cash advantage is something that is too overcome without HCA and a higher invested enthusiasm.

i understand your point saying that i could be bluffing. but one should know when to yield, and for me, that is this round in the cup.

Anyway, i'll be aware for our cup game, and won't be taken by surprise.

But if i had to choose between one round further in the cup or an almost certain promotion (thanks to HCA) to the BBBL, i'd certainly know what to choose, BBBL ofcourse and rejoining the big dudes

(which also implies making more money in the long run, as you already know by now)

I'm completely out of topic, and sorry for that ; but wht do more and more people say "the big 3" with Spartans included ?

There's only a big 2, my team has strictly no trophy to show except a cup final several seasons ago that was only due to a very fortunate draw.

I currently don't have a chance against Joe or Q. Of course, sometimes they drop a game so I can win one. No way this will happen in the Cup so close to the trophy ... But we all know this one is for Arlon ;)

About your cup game, I don't think I would invest much TS and ressource in the game, but I would sure as hell be trying to surprise Eagles one way or another. Anyway, scouting now is easy : it will be pretty obvious to check playing times because I doubt a team would risk having form issues so close to the play-offs.

I'm sorry to be the party breaker Joe, but that is an advertisement and the rules concerning advertising are clear. Such a forum post should be made in the Belgium Forum and not in the BBBL forum, even if his salary/potential would best suit him to end up in the BBBL.

u might not like the fact that i deleted ur post, but if i don't i'll have to tolerate the same posts on other fora, and i know that those rules are very strict, but they should be upheld. (in the unlikely event that u would require a reminder, u can find em here: (221473.1)

However, to my knowledge, there isn't a rule that would suggest the BBBL managers to check out the U21/NT advertisement thread. (and ofc, if u are scared that those skills remain public, u can always edit ur message on that advertising forum once he's been sold, saying that the player was sold etc. Deleting the message leaves it visible for any BB personel, editing it means BB-personal can't see the original message)
