I never comment on today's bad tactics. I commented on the patient used in a previous game.

Nice win indeed. Like I said you really needed this one to help rebuild Canada's confidence.

Thats the cost of the "setup issue".

Don't worry, rating will come back if U21 team could back on track.

I'd argue the only important thing is activity and trying to inspire managers. Before tonight, our three wins were against Bahamas, Ecuador, and Costa Rica. Those countries have 19 active managers combined. Considering user turnover small countries face, those three nation's combined pool of available talent is less than any single league in Canada, and the average league in Canada might draft 1-2 good players, much less than 1 of which turn into anything close to resembling a U21 player.

We lost to Jamaica (10 users). We lost to Venezuela with help from poor tactics. Also, again due to tactics, it's more than likely we'd have lost to Ecuador (6 users?) if they didn't GDP. Not exaggerating.

The U21 coaching title entails more than narrowly beating countries with 5 users. If we're genuinely this awful, we're doing something fundamentally wrong with developing players. Takes a lot for me to disapprove of a manager but for the time being it will remain that way. I have plenty of confidence in sparky, I just don't think he's been good enough yet. Our win tonight was against a superior-looking team, but it simply wasn't a legitimate or skilled win in my opinion. No offence at all there.

Boy, I write stuff like that and everyone jumps all over me.
Go ahead Beanz jump on him, cause if it was me.
Now a sensational 4th quarter comeback win aint good enough.
His losses are on him, his wins not legit.

The kid stays on his players owners about their game shape...(Much to no avail)
He advises training (Much to no avail)
How about Canadian owners retaining the talent and training and making sure he has what he needs because right now he doesn't
he's got a great next crop on the way for next season
Aside from the blip in that lineup mishap his record through preliminaries is as it should be.
Doesn't matter how many users those other countries have, it's the level of the talent on their U21 vs Canada's that matters.
Go back before this 6 game stretch, look at the teams and tell me that his record shouldn't have been the 4-2 that it is.

The other coach made the GDP mistake?
So who was the better manager?

It's always me except when its not me, then it doesn't matter.
Sheesh

This is a great win indeed! Congratulations. And I wouldnt worry about ratings either. They dont have any effect in this game.
Anyway, if you want to improve them, you have to realize they dont reflect just the results (especially in country such as Canada that is couple of levels down from the best teams in the world). It has a lot to do with PR (and this has been poor with some passive-agressive posts here), the work input from manager (no complaints there, great job) and in getting community involved as well as ensuring that future of U21 and NT is bring (player development), and its mostly that.

The nice thing about U21 is that as long as you are chosen for 2nd term, you can pretty much grow the team the way you like it with right communication with managers. Bit different with NT, thats why centralized program with multiple managers involved is needed. To go from garbage to worl class in U21 you need 4 seasons. To go from garbage to world-class in NT, you need 10.

I was relaxed...however
When I wrote about the late great Kumiko's poor season
I was lambasted with the poor quality of the roster she was saddled with
but now it's ok
that's all
bad PR?
Just b
backing my boy with some truthful PR
carry on Canada
