$ 400k is really big bonus, especially if it wasn't done in fair way when some other team got almost nothing.
But I don't expect any other fixing as it would cause even worse result. The current situation doesn't look so bad even if some team got an advantage, situation before fixing was much morse as some team had great disadvantage which could have lead to bancrupcy troubles for them.
But I would like to make you think of all consequences at least twice in future when fixing some problems.

It's always possible to find a black sheep in a herd of whites, or a white sheep in a herd of blacks. Luckely even the worst affected team in your opinion has had a benefit. That can't be terrible, can it?

And yes, with every change we make some may be happy some may not. The amount of data we are able to gather as a BB Team, is a few million times the amount of data you are able to gather. This also means the BB Team has a way better picture of what's going on, fortunately. And this, of course, leads to the fact that we also have a better view of the possible consequences, and thus are able to draw better conclusions.

The way we fixed it is certainly fair for the far far majority and simply was the best available option.

This doesn't need to be true in general. Unfortunately, even with great amount of data there could be done very bad conflusions. Having great amount of data doesn't mean to be able to analyse them well and bad analysis lead to bad conflusions. This your statement totally misses a bit of self-reflection. Yes, you have done quite good job this time, but you still missed some aspects, so the job is not 100% perfect.
I can give you good example of self-reflection of your teammate (172332.13).

Of course, just the chance of being wrong with many data is considerably smaller than with your data. As I said, no fix is 100%, you are always able to find one percentile of cases that would or wouldn't be 100%.

I mean, you can keep complaining about literally anything, but until you finally realise no fix can be perfect it's an endless road.

There can be always some bugs or mistake in fixing. Nothing wrong on it. But it's about decision when there was enough fixing or there are still some aspects which deserves another fix.
If I understand your statement in this case right there was enough fixing. I can accept it, because it looks like no my real opponent got great advantage comparing to my team by this fixing (I don't count that some team got $ 50k more than me, it's nothing for me) or at least I don't know they got as I don't have so much data as you.
But some teams which are real opponent of these that received this unaccountable compansation can feel really betrayed by BB-staff. For teams that fight to avoid relegation $ 400k could be really great amount of money. But that's all by me now, it's upon them to show if they are sattisfied or not with it.
