Agreed. U21 is a tough job especially with the training some of the other teams get.

You did well. Next season make less saves and manage the enthusiasm well.

Results wise this season wasn't successful but in terms of saving players you did a fantastic job, which will strengthen our future team, so good job!!! :)

But that raises the question, who will be our U21 manager next season?

If I am to nominate someone I would strongly suggest that phillip should be the U21 manager.
apart from him i would also like to see one of you, tungi or jay m as the U21 manager.

A very harsh and unfair assessment of your achievements this season. Some seasons you can just look at the team and the schedule and know that you wont be achieving that much in terms of wins. There is a steep learning curve in running a NT as it is very, different from running a club team and you have a lot less control over the players. Everyone makes mistakes and I certainly did. What you have done is set the foundation for the U21 team in season 23-24 as well as probably making a contribution to the senior national team for seasons to come. If you had let all those players die and won one more game would that really have been a better outcome?

Take a couple of seasons off but I am sure people will remember the positives of your legacy. When we see all the guys you saved on the team at age 21 making some noise on the international stage, then we will have the true measure of your success.
