Quick overview of the eight teams who comprise the purple quarter of the draw.

I have added the players salaries up via a calculator so it is possible that keyboard entry mistakes could have occurred

Please note that teams salaries are not necessarily an accurate indication as to how good a team is and that injuries and purchase can still occur in the next 2 days.

Also I havent studied recent form, players gameshapes or likely team enthusiam levels

I will try and get up some more facts up later tonight, however my previous posts on each quarter of the draw of the final 32 did have a rough players salary figures and was configured in such a way that it showed who was playing who and had live links to each team so that game shapes etc could be checked

Perhaps more people would get involved in the B3 predictions competition if they knew that this thread existed

Some statistics regarding this years group stage

lowest ranked team to qualify for the knockout round: Peñarol B.C rank 144 seeded 32

highest ranked team to not qualify for the knockout round: Blackwolves rank 6 6-2 record with a PD of 233

highest ranked team of 11-25 rank (orange) to not qualify for the knockout round: Surental Lakers rank 12 5-3 record with a PD of 75
